Comp arf i spose are officially the "best". if i were to go get a 35-40% model, it would be comp arf..... apart from 2 companies!

QQ and EF.

Both of them make top quality planes. Both are built light, and fly brilliant. The QQ 86" is a great model all round, and the new 88" EF, well, its unbelievable.

I got my eye on the QQ 120, its just gorgeous!

Yeah, I just got back from Wild Hare, and took alook at the new Edge V2. I now 2 people who have the V1 and flew well. And your right Composite-Arf is not very cheap and they are heavy but I could get around with a 3W 50. Right now I'm talking with a guy from BME and right now that deal is looking pretty good. I have seen the QQ Yaks in action and I like there style just I've heard that there is a little bit of constuction issue at the back of the fuse. Is this true.
I think I'm leaning towards BME, WH, and AW.

Actually, I think they say around 1270ish, and that is truly about what it is. I can tell you that my EF yak, which was advertised at 1450, was actually only in the mid 1300's, when measured wingspan X MAC...

Okay just got back from the QQ website and they just went up about 2 points in my opinion. From the extreme aerobatics that I just watched in the videos they could be my pick.

That's all pilot, dude...I'm not saying they are bad planes, but Quique is one heck of a pilot. You can also go to www.aero-works.net and see videos of Mark Lesaberg flying the doodoo outa their planes.

Yeah, I will agree that it is mostly the pilot but I'm really looking for capabilities.

don't know if this will help but in most cases the yak design will fly slower and land easer than the extra or edge designs only because of the sleeker profile of the edges and extras

QQ YAKS are best hands down and no other company will touch their customer service for as long as you own your plane. Best flyer in all aspects whether its IMAC or Freestyle and flys great in both areas without changing CG! Very light for its size! These planes fly as well as some of the top name builders kits out there but can be up and flying in no time!
