Comp arf in my opinion, they are truly a bolt together plane with little real "dirty work" to get it ready which I feel is part of a plane but there is no other gasser I've flown that has quite had that undefined "touch" to it that just makes it a great flying plane, I've never flown a QQ yak but there does seem to be quite a bit of talk about them; my input on that is the yak design has a shorter fuselage than an extra design which makes the yak a little more radical which would make me prefer the Comp-Arf for my uses which are IMAC and mild 3D.

Take a look at the new line of Lanier planes. The new edge and extra are nice 50cc planes. Very light, well built. I have the edge and find it to be a real sweetheart. I can't remember what it scales out at, but there is a build thread I did on it I think I scaled it when I was done.
Another benifit is most hobbyshops carry the goldberg/lanier line, so you can buy from a LHS and save on shipping and the risks that go with it.
