Default Is there really such thing as too many planes?

Well it seems that everytime I'm with a friend I end up with a new plane in the car. Maybe it's because I like to build um or maybe I even have the thought of flying um. the newest was the Eflite 260. I have a new plane on the way from Wild Hare. But the others go from my Ultra Stick Twist P-51 from Top Flite the Mini Funtana and my Top Flite Corsair. With the thought of another plane I always get this saying to me. How many planes can you fly at once. But the way I look at is I have plenty of spares and I can have different moods. But yeah When the get complete then I can show some pics of my fleet.

I dont know, if you have all the planes RTF then it could get to the point that most never get flown. For the price of a bunch of little ones you could have a really nice setup. The nice thing about having only one or two is that you can really master everyting about that one airframe and be able to fly it at its best.

It can be kind of a pain to keep lots of planes of the same size going. You get slightly more prone to missing little maintenance issues. Is the battery in this on a 600, or a 1000? 4 or 5 cell? Second aileron on channed 5 or 6? Was this one channel xx or yy? All that little stuff.
On the other hand its nice to have variety. I dont really know where I'm going with this, but I think a few nice planes and many smaller ones both have advantages.

I don't think so I enjoy the build almost as much as I do the flying.
