Saw a nice looking gal spectating at the field one day. She told her boyfriend that the big plane flying was OK but she'd never seen any RC plane actually land without crashing. I started out to the flightline to tell my buddy flying his 40% plane to turn off the smoke, stop hovering down on the deck and land the plane. On the way out I wised up, turned around, went back to the pits, started up my plane and started shooting touch and go's. I scored. Well I scored maybe a 6.5 on my landings. The hot chick left before I even made it back to the pits...

I just wish the mail order hobby shops would send the prices in a separate plain wrapper...much easier to explain the new plane without her holding the catalog...

Oh yeah...Check this out ladies!! You know that plane at the last air show when everyone was helping to pick up the pieces? I was flying that one!!

Then there are always the few lucky guys who land a gal that not only wants to go to the field (and large, testerone-laced events like the Nall), but also buys, builds, and (at this point attempts) to fly...

That is one lucky guy!!!!

My wife considers this hobby a chick/wife repellant! She hates it. Don't even ask for a kiss good night at my house if you go to the flying field.
My 8 year old twins like the airplanes so in a couple more years I can take the kids to the field and get more stick time.
