Started working around age 13 cutting lawns. Then delivering the evening newspaper, this was back in the day when you used a bike with front and back baskets. I could chuck a paper from the road, on the fly, with an arc that landed it right on the porch!

Started working on farms putting up hay at around 8 or 9 years old. 1st public job at 16 washing dishes in a truck stop (night shift), lasted one summer, hated it! 1st plane was a Goldberg Eagle 63 with a KB 40.

First job off the family farm (small....dad was an air traffic controller) was milking cows at a local dairy for $2 hr twice a day age 14. Shocking orchard grass for another farmer. Cutting grass. I did not get my first plane until 1985 after I started my first "career oriented" job as a diesel fuel injection tech.

Paper boy for 3 years started when I was 12. 100 papers a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. Rain, snow, shine on a 20" BMX bike. All papers had to be delivered by 6 am. Sucked but where else does a 12yr get a job.
