Only superstition I have is not to fly on a sick day. That one has bit me a few times. Other than that, every day is game. I flew this evening. Never even thought about it being Friday the 13th. Anyway, Sorry to hear about your loss. Crashing sucks on any day. Mike |

Hmm. Made a "full-scale" flight to a local airport and back, then went out and flew foamies... not a problem. And Friday night of the ETOC this year was on Friday the 13th, all my flights went well enough! 13 is my lucky number. RJ

| It will fly!!! |
I can say that my luck and the luck of my flying buddy was both good today. I was flying my 1/4 scale clipped wing cub (which has been a headache from day one....long story). Today was the best it has flown I had 4 flights when I tip stalled it on a low turn and dumped it in the bean field. Only damage was pulling the tail wheel off. My flying buddy also was playing to low and put his plane in the beans. Only damage was a broken prop. Both off field unplanned earth contacts were results of pilot induced problems and both planes survived with minimal repairs needed. On previous occasions when planes have been in that field they either needed major repairs or a trash bag. So I call it good luck flying today.

I also went out yesterday & had some good IMAC practice without any incidents......We also had 2 other pilots who were on my channel & I kept in constant contact with them throughout the day...no incidents at all.... So..... the 13th can be a great day for flying... It's just how you look at it. Wayne | ||||||||||||||||||
