Welcome to the club!!! Did you know it was coming or was it a suprise. Rember when I did mine I was out doing touch and go's with the instructor and he was like pull over here so I can get out, and I'm like ahhhh what. It's a good feeling though when you do it.

When I soloed my big 215 lbs ass in a C150, it sure climbed better with only me in it he he.

Congrats, it feels very nice being alone in the plane, and the feeling of accomplishment is very present.

I haven't flown full scale in years, but the feeling of accomplishment is still with me.

Ya, It was fun. It did want to climb like a bat outa hell with only me and only 20gallons of fuel on board. I kind of knew it was coming, but it was still weird. I kept wondering what in the world did I get myself into.

I almost got my license a few years ago but the fact that I wouldn't use it that much and the money issue (lessons were $5000) kind of held me back. But congrats.

Congrats to you. I still remember the day I soloed in 1990 just like it was yesterday. I remember the first time I flew our 340 by myself too. Very cool and very strange feeling.

ROFL! I did something similar when I was ten, I just sat on a really thick cushion with the seat all the way forward and all the way up (172).

Congratulations Jamie! My first solo was one of the proudest days in my life.

Ya it wasnt too bad of a day...

As far as the phone book thing, I think everyone has done that at some point in there lives. I remember flying with my dad and flying the plane and I couldnt reach the pedals. I had to have been like 3 or 4.
