There probably 3/16" axles which I just installed on my 40%. My originals are metric, but the same diameter.

If I were constantly breaking axles, I would check to make sure the geometry looks good, and there isn't some weird alignment going on.

I did notice on my Dubro install however, that the wheels are further out on the axle shaft in order to sit in the center of the pant. If I break mine, I'll chime back in.

Where are they breaking on the axles ? They should be 3/16" axles.

Do not put a flat spot anywhere but on the outside part of the axle for the wheel collar.

is is breaking right where it is pressed in, right by the landing gear.

and there is no flat spoting at all

it breaks off like just snaped

He probably has the wheel too far outward on the axle.
Use a new 3/16" and see if he can get the wheel closer in.

Try titanium axles. I have yet to break the pair on my 40% and I have made some less then perfect landings.

ok he was thinking about doing that cause he is getting tired of it and the last time he cracked up a wheel pant so it needs to be fixed.
