most of their hobbies where getting wasted outa their mind hahah, legal drinking ago in germany is 18 hahah it was fun there but i like being back home.. none the less if i tryed explaining the hobby to them the would forget in a day anyway hahah, the few cool people i knew where "geeks" and if i have pc trouble they still fix my stuff hahah ahhh the wonders of never staying in one school for more then 3 years... mike

Friend/teacher/random person: what do you like to do in your free time. Me: there is no point in me even trying to explain. I could say one word and you'd be lost. I have typically given up trying to explain. I'm more of a visual person.

on the ufo subject i actully hread from a county cop a few days later that 2 calls for UFOs where made during the time i was flying my 9 ft kite with glow sticks on it.. haha you decide mike

Just had one last night: I brought my 35%er to work to weigh it on a calibrated scale. I am an aircraft mechanic (Inspector actually) and we have a small hangar and a ramp to house our 7 planes we get each nigh. These are $30,000,000+ planes. Mind you that we are obviously on the airport property, and aircraft coming in on final are only about 700 feet away. So I pull the plane out of my truck and some schmuck newbie mechanic comes up to me and says "Hey, are you getting ready to fly that thing?" My response - "NO! Are you flippin' retarded???" |

I get asked all the time How much did that cost? If my wife is present I can almost see her ears raise and I reply "Not sure I traded some old planes and a trailor for it". If the wife is not present I reply "too much".
