Default Re: where do you look when you hover?

When the canopy is toward me I bias toward the nose.

When the belly is toward me I bias toward the tail.

Reason is that this is how the rudder relationship works... when canopy is toward you left rudder moves the nose left. When belly toward you, left rudder moves the tail left. Makes it easier.

Cheers

Yup, makes it alot easier for me this way, every little movement can be seen and corrected.

Whatever makes you feel more comfortable and in best control of the plane.

For me? I look around the canopy/hatch area. When the belly is facing me, I like looking at the mufflers for some reason haha. I can also see my throttle servo moving hehe.

Hatch area, in front of the canopy but at the same time the whole plane is in my eyesight.

Thats exactly what I do. And then when I bring it in real close I make quick glances at the tail and back up to the hatch in front of the canopy to be sure I dont hit the rudder on the ground.
