you also can use the method i tryed earlier, look through the clear canopy when youre close and see how the servos are working from the rudder...

that was the first wow effect. -and a liitle scary...

practice,practice,practice... then it doesnt matter where you look at, if you go around youre plane while its rolling, dont look at youre plane, stand under youre plane...

you ll find out theres a lot of fun you can have...

Chris

Whole plane - Regular or belly in. I then am aware of drift in all axis.

Don't think about where you are looking. Do what comes naturally!

I visualize the plane rolling on a vertical axis and when it gets off I try to put inputs to correct. Yeh sounds elementary, but hey when you've got $2,500+ inches off the ground all you're hoping to look at the end of the day is a WHOLE PLANE.

Yeah. The same to me. I look at the canopy area but with the other parts of the airplane very easy to see. Sometimes i look to the tail section, just to be sure that it is far enough from the ground (1 meter)

I just look in the direction of the plane, fingers do the rest I have no idea what I actually look at. I have found in most areas of expertice the Subconcious is the tool for expertice, the concious mind is the one that will make a mistake!
I am not very good at it but I will put her on the deck.
This is not me below that is Breakstuff 5050

I look at the plane as a whole. Mainly towards the center of the plane, a little closer to the nose vs. tail. Canopy area. This gives you a general view of the entire plane which allows you to correct easier.

Heres a pic that you can see the general area that I look.

Seth

I don't look at the plane. I fix my eyes at a point in front of me, then try to keep the plane in my field of view. Works every time, and I'm getting quite sufficient at 3" off the ground hovers. Need to work on spinning the plane while in a hover though....

I dont really know what I look at but I know I dont really look at any one place on the plane. Kinda just looking at the whole thing but sometimes glance at the rudder when touching the tail.
