Default First Solo

Well I have been flying a Diamond DA40 and my first solo might be tomorrow if the weather is good. Look at the weather report and showed some winds. I know I want it to be a calm day for first time!!! If not tomorrow then Monday is my next scheduled lesson. Cant wait. Little nervous but I can do it!

There you go. You will do just find. Actually the wind if its right down the runway is kinda nice to have. Good luck and let me know how it goes!

Later,

well I didnt get a chance to go today. My schedule this week has been messed up with a different school schedule/work schedule. Plus it was a little windy for a first solo today. I am scheduled Monday to fly it though! Weather is looking perfect so far.

Well this afternoon at 5:00 my instructor step out of the plane and made me in charge to take my first flight solo. I had to perform three take offs and landings. When he was getting out I was getting nervous and just before take off I was really nervous and just told myself to relax. I gave it the throttle and before I know it the plane was ready to get off the ground!!!! I got up in the air and then realized wtf am I doing up here lol. but after I made my cross wind turn for runway 24 I started settling down knowing I can do this. I made all three take offs and landings!!! First two were okay and my last one ended up great!!! It was a alot of fun!!!
