Have been flying RC the last 20 years, PPL since 1996 and airliners since 2000. No doubt, fullsize aerobatics rules, then RC and commercial is money to live and have fun. Nice office in the front in a airliner but no fun when you have been there for some years. All the glamour is gone. I wish`d I was back in the early 60`s |

HAHA a new house. Good one. I'm 17 and taking flying lessons now. Just like said before make sure you have a good amount of money saved up so you don't get behind on something. I cut grass to pay for my lessons and had some saved up. This way I can still take lessons and not run out while I'm still making money for future lessons. Also you will definately need more than 40 from what I've been told and what's on here. I have 6+- hours so far. Kinda ran out of mula. That's NOT what you want. You run out of money and can't get a lesson in for a month and you need to get caught back up on what you did a MONTH ago. You will end up spending more than you intend. But since you are young (like me) you might be able to remember the stuff you got a long time ago if you aren't able to fly for a month or so. I fly in a Piper Cherokee 160 and I pay $65 for the plane and $25 for CFI. Only $90 for a lesson. I'm part of a club at the airport I fly where I pay $20 a month and get reduced everything. Good luck and happy flying ~Michael~ |
