Default Teens at Joe Nall?

Who was there at the 3D field? I saw a few people. My name's Justin, but some of you will recognize my plane before me. I saw Matt (from Higher Plane Productions) was there, and I know a couple of other pilots were there. Any teens attend and fly?

Awesome, man! Is that the plane you flew in your avatar? That giant purple Extra? I don't know the maker or kind of Extra it is, but it looked like it flew GREAT!

I saw both of you. Man, Sukhoikid, you got some serious skills. That was some awesome flying, man. What kit is that?

FlyJ, I saw you fly your Pitts. Looks like it flies good! Or are you just making it look like it flies good?

I could argue about the color scheme, but the plane itself looks great! How does it perform? Does it need any coupling in Knife Edges?

I like the color scheme actually, and the kimball much better than the Qui Que scheme. but the knife edge was fairly neutral. The plane is really between a yak (a neutral plane) and a pitts (a plane that requires some mixing). The mixing is pretty minimal, as i recall its about 6.5% on the elevators and about 4% on the ailerons, compared to my ultimate that requires at least 10% on the ailerons.

As for other performance, it flies great with the DA-100, i don't think id be as happy with the 85.

I know this is a thread for the teens. I hope you do not mind me slipping a comment in here.

I had the opportunity to meet and speak with quite a few young adults at this years event. You all know who you are. I use the term "Young adult" with respect and honor for who you all are. I was very impressed and pleased to meet you all. The future of this hobby looks very bright indeed. I wish you all many years of happiness with the hobby!
