We made it home last night at 9:15 to find that we had just missed a nasty storm,trees down,power lines down, and no electricity.

Just to reflect on the events this past weekend,we had a Great group of pilots that were NOT intimidated by the winds that were blowing 25+ mph flying planes that they have never flown before,Great Job Pilots , these are the type of winds that you're average pilot at the local field would not even get their planes out of their car/trailer. The pilots flew the heck out of these planes,all ran flawless.Kevin was "in charge" of the" basic pilots" (11 of them) and RJ was "in charge" of the "advanced" pilots with all of the pilots looking like well seasoned pilots, as soon as a plane was landed ,pilots would run out to service the plane ,looking a lot like a pit stop that you would see on Nascar .All in all all of the pilots that showed up at the YM were winners in my book,I also think that the pilots parents were also the winners for having their sons/daughters involved in such a Great hobby.

It was great seeing all of you this weekend. Is is great to see you having fun and making friends at Triple Tree. I will be getting pictures posted on the Joe Nall web site today .Thanks for being patient and posing for pictures.

This is one of the best competitions for this sport.
I competed in the 2004 YM, and it was totally worth the trip from Texas. Glad to see that they are still putting the event on and hope that it continues for years to come.

Thank you mr Hartness for your generosity , mr Sadler , and the Triple Tree gang, We will never forget!

Please let us know how we can help in future events, To the pilot leaders, Kevin and R. J. what you did this weekend shows the stuff you are made of.

To the judges, not only did you judge you took the time to share your knowledge

you all left a very positive influence in our kids.

And finally thank you to all the kids in attendance, YOU ALL WON FIRST PLACE IN MY BOOK!
