Hi every one. Matt has had his surgery on his color bone. He is really sore but other then that he is doing good. The surgery went well, the color bone was broke a little more then what they thought, so they had to put in a larger metal plate in his shoulder. Thanks to every one for your gifts, prayers, and support.

Hey jeff....I'm glad matt seems to be doing a lot better. I myself have raced MX for around 30 years and know exactly how painful that sport can be at times. I think i have broken just about everything in my body at least once , some even 3-4 times!

It sounds as if jeff is making a good recovery....it's good that he's young. What did you guys find out about his "back". I know in your original post , you had mentioned it might be broken. Did he fracture some vertebrae or possibly slip a few discs?

I wish him the best.

Jeff

This year we went to the AMA show and my 10 year old son said check that dude out! Well it was Matt with the mohawk. Recently my kid has been bugging me to buy him a dirt bike, and I told him what had happened to Matt and he has since changed his tune. Get well soon!

Hey everyone I just wanted to personally say thank you to everyone for the kind words and positive thoughts, I really appreciate it. O and just to set the record straight the hawk did not get hurt in any of this... haha
I just got back from the doctors for a check up on the shoulder after the surgery; everything looks to be set in the right spot now. The clavicle bone ended up being a little more broken then what they anticipated so it required a larger plate, but on the plus side they did it with out using a bone graph.
I am scheduled to go back in the middle of July for them to double check my nerves in my back for damage.
I will keep you all updated as much as I can...
Once again THANK YOU every one for everything!!!

THE HAWK
p.s. i got a pic of one of my X-Rays of the plate in my shoulder with my cell phone i will post in a min.
