My dad wants me to repair my trashed....

I think I will talk with him, (as Reza suggested) he is negociable. I don't like the plane and I have a depron cutout a fieldmember gave me (ironicaly) for when I crash my ultimate

I say keep flying till it won't fly anymore. I had an ultimate fx 3d that lasted a pretty long time. After a few incidents and fixes it started to get heavy and fly bad. Eventually, I decided to get another plane so I figured I would get all I could out of the ultimate before I got rid of it. I flew so crazy and did some insane stuff cause I didn't care if it crashed. I crashed it and repaired it so many time in about an hour that the plane would roll in the opposite direction as the ailerons moved cuase they caused the wings to flex the opposite way. Get all you can out of it before you get rid of it. I had more fun and learned more in that hour than all the other flights put together. Also, all the stuff I did was low and slow, flying through things type of stuff so that I didn't ruin a servo or battery in my crashes.

If you're not going to get a part time job and get another plane from that money.... fix it! You can ask your dad to buy you a bit more depron also. There's a reason why the guys here said "Fix it". That'll help you learn to repect the plane, and money. That's probably why your dad told you to fix it also. If you just trash it, and move on, you're missing a valuable lesson.

buy depron sheets and build your own...you can get a lot of depron for $40

Yea, when people have to use there own money they treat things a lot differently than when it is someone elses money. Besides, your young and have plenty of time for all kinds of different planes. Waiting a while and getting better with the one you have won't hurt. Besides, if you get better with what you have when you get a new one it will last a lot longer.

That's assuming that his dad is not in on the idea. Because if he is, then he'll just say "sucks to be you, I guess you won't have a plane to fly for a while now

If it wont fly, thats the sign that the plane is toast. All you have to do is have a viking funeral Thats my 2 cents of advice.

All is good now, I am flying a tensor 4d which works great and has no airfoill (YEAH) lol and I have 400$ saved for a composite-arf
