Help! College flying?

My brother is scoping out colleges right now and I started to think if I will be able to continue my hobbie in some little way shape or form with dorm limitations. I think I will probably be able to tag along the sim but it might be a bit tight putting my foamy in there. So has anyone else gone through or in college and have any exp.? (I play guitar to so there is a travel amp and (1) electric)
LOOKS LIKE I'LL HAVE NO SPACE AT ALL

yup! been there done that . .. at first i thot, oh yeah, i'll just stick to electrics... then i got a q500, then i got a combat plane, then i got a 25% laser!! i got lots of looks hauling a 25% plane down the elevators. you just have to hope for an understanding roomate. at oklahoma state university, the RC field is just north of campus, actually loacated on OSU property. It's not a spectacular field but it sure was nice to be able to get in a flight after a long test, or in between classes! i think anything bigger than 25% would be pushing it in a dorm room though.

I took a break from RC during those years. Hell there are a lot more interesting things than planes to play with.....if ya know what I mean. Kick back...party....chase the women......enjoy it. Don't worry about trying to finance a expensive hobby while going to school.

I brought my sim with me, and that was it. I'm home for the summer and get to fly alot, then back to school in the fall. I'll do the same again, and just bring the sim. Too much other stuff going on to worry about flying.

I've been thinking about the same thing as I'm also off to college in the fall. I'm definitely not taking planes to the dorm as they are too expensive and fragile. Probably bring a couple foamies for that. As a last resort I'm considering putting some in a storage unit but I'm concerned about cold weather. Still not quite sure yet.

I take my Raptor to college with me. It is a 15 min. flight in a Cess. 150 from the colleges airport to the nearest airport at home, so I fly when I get back home on the weekends. Alot of the professors at my college does rc's also, so we all fly together on the soccer fields. I GOT LUCKY!!!!
