12 x 4 hands down. Any more pitch than that (except maybe 5) is absolute trash for 3D on a 46 size IMO. 11.5 x 4i s good for a nice fast spool up. 12 x 4 is a bit slower, better for 3D, 12.25 x 3.75 is my favourite prop for my 50's. I feel that it doesn't spool up fast enough on a 46.

Ageed. DOnt waste your time with the 11x6. Get a 12x4 or 12.25x3.75. I prefer the 12.25 prop, it does spool a little slower but if you stay on top if it it does a a great job of torquing the model. Plus if your model is on the heavier side it will give slightly better overall static thrust.

Iwouldnt put anything bigger than 11X4. A least thats what used onmy twist with an o.s. 46 fx and could hover nice and still pull straight slowly. The 11X4 seems to allow the engine to keep its rpms.

apc has a new prop - 11.5 x 5 wide - this is better than the old 12.5 x 3.75 and the 12 x 4 - really works marvelous on all my fun fliers - spool up is great and marvelous thrust for hovers etc. check it out
