I just checked the cowl for the 33% Yak, and the diameter is just slightly less than 11.5". According to the RCS website, 11.5" is the tip-tip distance for that engine (counting the plug caps). With the amount of right-thrust, you will have to cut a small opening for the left plug wire, but might not have to cut a hole for the right side. Should fit quite nicely. The nice thing about the Aviation Models Yaks is that the engine box is long and unfinished, so you can trim the length and mount the firewall where you need it to be.

With mufflers, I suspect it will weigh slightly more than the super 80, but it should certainly have enough power to fly well, but whether it has enough power for you depends on what type of flying you will be doing. I suspect it should have plenty for pulling out of hovers, but maybe not enough for the upper IMAC classes. I don't have any experience with that engine, so I am just guessing, based on the number on the RCS website.

Hiya Larry! You know I'm actually twelve years old and the reason it says I'm so old is that I'm technically not old enough to have my own account on here so I have to use my mom's. Nice to hear from you though.

I have this plane with a zdz80 super and it rocks.
Flies like a giant shockflyer! Best bang for the buck.
Best 3d plane period. Beats my carden 35% edge and my composite 2.6 yak.
Wanting to try the 35% next or the 37.5. The 40% will not fit in my trailer. HA!

You have a cool dad! When I was twelve, I had a Schwinn. "33%!" That's where the magic starts!
