Hi guys, got my hands on a comp-arf Extra 2.3m kit( First large 3D aircraft). Wondering what servos to put in? I need it fully cabable of extreme 3D flying. Always used Futaba upto now. The website says to use 2 JR 8411 per aileron, 1 per elevator and 2 for the rudder. Was wondering if 1 x JR8511 would be powerful enough for each aileron and elevator? Also is there a good Futaba comparable servo? Cheers |

IF your 8511 are like 8611 over hear, NO prob, however they might wear a little faster than if you were to use 2 8411. I had a 2.3 with 8611 on all surfaces, 1 per, and had no problems. ran em on 5.5v without a hitch.
