I went through the long hair stage, had hair down past my shoulder blades. I wasn't flying at the time, but we rode atv's through every kind of dirt, mud, sand, chat, in the rain, through creeks, you name it. I got two ideas: 1.) Go with 50%'s advise (its VERY sound) or 2.) Use a Pony tail holder, super simple and cheap.

I used to have long hair back in high school, but shaved it all off after the first day of track practice, screw that, way too hot

One more thing, watch out that your hair doesn't get caucht in your prop if you fly smaller glow planes.

Dude, which is more important? Family or sluts? If you just have the long hair right now because the chicks dig it, then what'll happen if you get hitched ot one? Chances are that you'll start to go bald in 30 years. If they just love you for your visual appeal, then when that goes away, you'll just be left with a few kids, an ex-wife, a large loss of money that could be used toward some really cool planes, and you'll be alone because all the quality women are already taken and have settled down with other great guys.

I'm sorry I made you depressed. I was conflicted with saying it as well, but that's the truth as I've see it. I hope you understand my point.

How about a reverse mohawk? Do it in a fro, then cut a trench down the middle. Now that would rock! And, as an added benefit, on Halloween, you could paint it silver and pass yourself off as a slotted screw.

well as some of you may know im a metalhead. With that comes the long hair. For the flying i had the same problem. Now i just tuck it behind my ears and where a hat. Sunglasses can also help keep it out of your eyes. heres a pic with the hat and ear tuck. I have also been known to where a bandana and tuck the hair again. just try some things out and see what works for you.

Sweet! Re: Long Hair

Ask Jason Shulman- he's seemed to have been able to cope with it for the past few years
