Some where I saw someone use AC 110V power to make a copper ring hover. Any one know how to do that..........and how does the military make those UFO disks hover and change direction so fast...LOL.....

I visited MIT, not like I am smart enough to go their or anything but there are so many Asian kids! They are taking over the campus. Everyone else is a minority, its totally ridiculous how smart they are.........

Be prepared for the Americans to be a minority in any engineering program.
China has a goal of 600,000 engineers graduating per year alone. Factor in other countries as well and you can do the math. We don't make up 20% of a classroom.

This is very bad for the US as a whole, but as far as class goes... not a big deal.
I learned to play a mean game of ping pong thanks to some international students.
Good times!

Hi All,
I can tell you that aerospace engineers are in demand, I work for a major airline and we can not find aerospace engineers to fill our positions.

55K and a job right out of school. Things haven't changed since the eighties when
1. I was in Riddle in the flight program.
2. My wife was in Riddle aerospace program. Masters from AFIT.
She has worked for G.E. (contract), Pratt&Whitney, now Rolls Royce...HMM she gets around..She is good at what she does, it is amazing how much work goes into one little blade on a big fan. It only takes us about 1 sec. to tear it up in flight...
Well both flow in cycles..I haven't heard of anyone in the turbo-fan engineering department making that kind of cash "out of school", so maybe there is another area for the big bucks... If it is in Seattle or most the west coast for that matter $55,000 equates $35,000 in the rest of the world. If your interested in flying, graduate young and set you feet cuz that is one rough ride..
What I am trying to say is don't listen to the schools, talk (like you are) too people in the business, find the truth that way...
Other schools to look at,
U.N. Dakota
Purdue
One thing to ask people is what schools does the company you work for hire from? From what my wife has said some of these companies like diffrent schools for diffrent things and can be very selective. It seemed P&W was quite selective..
So, find your field, ask ask ask, and once in school do as much internshipping in the big companies as possible. It actually will help you more then you can imagine.

You should check out Oklahoma State. Here is their Aerospace Design website.

They have finished 1st and 2nd in the AIAA Design, Build, Fly contest the past 3 years. They also set 2 world FAI records this summer.

they do that because its a class, and required to graduate. they also have TONS of funding. most of the other schools do it as a student organasation. im in the AIAA at Werstern, and we do it for fun in addition to all our classes.
