Take what Garrett and Joe said, put a seperate rate on all the surfaces, then make a condition that allows 3D throw with one switch, best of both worlds Will B. |

A pilot with your experience should be cautious when it comes to switches. Too many switches can cause a pilot to become disoriented under stress. The three position rates would be optimal. Just make sure you know what position is what. The G switch seems to be very comfortable for me. I did use the C switch for a while, but my index finger had to reach over the D switch. Orgonomically, The G switch provides quicker finger response.

I thought the 9C had conditions, sorry. Can you use the rate switches like a condition? High med low and another switch that forces them to high/low? Not sure if the 9C will allow this or not. Will B.

Nope... this is the biggest thing I would like to have..... I will probably break my rates out to three switches,,, but that is the dilemna, you need to hit all three to get them to all go to higher rates..... This is way I'm saving my pennies for a 12 or 14... to be able to do exactly what you mention.....

Thats the problem now.. I have all my low/high rates on 3 different switches which can be a pain in the neck sometimes to remember where I am at with the switches after a maneuveur or quick transition.

I know where my switchs are for each function, what positions they are in and how to get them to their proper position in an emergency such as a flame out or such. They, the switches, have served me well. And when not sure, a quick brush with my finger can get all my switchs to a safe known flying mode. If one switch is what you choose, then all you need to do is select which rate you want and assign it to the same switch. Then set the "ON" position for the rate.

Made me think of something, with spread spectrum we should soon have telemetry capabilities, engine temp, rpm, fuel level, etc.... Rpm going to 0 could be the trigger to a condition. Wow the possibilities |

Hey I have two diffrent set ups on diffrent planes. One is a dual swith it is ok. I am getting use to it. The other is a single switch. I only started flying in august so I only was running dual rates. Now on I am running triple and on the one that has two switchs. One switch is the rudder and the other is the elev and ail.
