Dont forget the tie wraps on every fuel fitting in the system.
I count.. 2 inside the tank on the clunk line.
3 on the T
1 on the carb.
1 on the vent line outside the tank.

Tygon will expand when exposed to fuel and the line will slip off if not secured.

I found that one out the hard way.
Used fuel line clips instead on tie wire.
Clunk line slipped off on first fill.

i use the easy fillers from great planes. simple easy and no extra lines to worry with i goes in line from the tank to the carb and when you are fueling/unfueling it closes off the carb line to prevent flooding the carb. they make then for gas or glow. i use them on all my planes. and it comes with a fitting to plug into it and makes it real easy.
and yes gas is flamible but if u think about it glow is a lot more dangerious because it contains nitromathane which is way more explosive than gas. and as far as spilling the overflow i riged up a line that go onto the overflow and that lets it go back into my gascan so i am not wasting it.

Those valves seem like a good idea but they will eventually leak air and not completely seal.
There is no need to block off the line to to carb on a gasser. The pump isnt runningwhen fueling so that side if the line is effectively closed. Fuel will not go in the direction of the carb and flood it.

On our DA50 we tried a 2 line system, and had problems flooding the carb, it seemed. We then went to a 3 line, and the flooding problem was gone. So, on our DA150 we just went with the 3 line system with the DA Fuel Dot, no problems. We also use Zip ties for securing the Tygon ends.

I love the guys who fill the tanks with a cigarette hanging out of their mouths. Very safe!
