Hi... Maybe you can give me an opinion about which gas fun-fly to buy for a brand new OS .60 that I got as a gift. I would like an opinion as well for servos (standard or smaller) and receiver. I'm flying with a Futaba 9CAPS. Let me know you choice... ![]() Thanks |

The 60 is a difficult size to find a profile for. It's a much heavier engine than the average .40-.50 engine so it'll make a 40-sized bird very nose-heavy (which means it'll fly like kerap). It's also a lot weaker than your average .90 so if you choose a 90-sized bird (like a Katana 70 or Mojo 60) you will be sacrificing a little pull-out and vertical. However, having said that, if you're a builder -- go for the Mojo 60 (tough as nails and so easy to fly that you'll look like a 3D master within minutes). If you're an ARF man then the Katana 70 V2 is a pretty good bird -- but they can be a bit fragile. I'm sure others will chime in with other suggestions... |

mojo 60 ![]() i have had mine for a month now and since i got it, i sold/selling all my other profiles.. hands down best 3d funfly out IMO. mine was built with "moass", which is a longer tail moment and bigger controll surfaces. it was such a great mod, that swany now offers the mod kit with purchase of a standard kit for an additional 10 bucks. well worth it, but you might need more than a .60 as it is about 4-5 oz. heavier than stock. either way you build it, its going to rock! here is a video of my maiden..real fun!! http://www.theprofilebrotherhood.com...oassmaiden.wmv enjoy! |

Great flying steedav8ranger... Thanks for the advice. What engine are you using? I have a Webra .90 and a Thunder Tiger 46... Should I try to buy something fr this engines instead of the OS .60? Thanks |
