A little but I try not to too much right now. I really don't have the money to buy right now and If I found a good deal that I couldn't resist I probably wouldn't have anywhere to sleep when I got home

SD Models Yak, good price, great flier. Wild Hare and Aeroworks also have good offerings.

Depending on how soon you want to purchase, you might consider a plane from 3D Hobbyshop. They have an 85" Katana coming out soon, and towards the end of the year they will have an 85" Extra. Check them out here:

http://www.3dhobbyshop.com/HotStuff.aspx

Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

My son and I are flying a prototype of the Extra, it weighs less than 15lbs with a DA50, aluminum gear and wingtube. Great flying plane. I've been told the production models will have carbon gear and wingtube so it should end up even lighter.

My son flew a prototype of the 85" Katana at SEFF, electrified. Very good flier as well.

I appreciate all the help I've decided to go with the yak that I had mentioned a friend has for sale.(hopefully it's still around at the time)

Here's the rundown;

-Yak 54 ARF, 3 flights
-Custom graphics from B&E
-Hitec 5645 servos on aile/elev (x4)
-Hitec 5955 servo on rudder
-Throttle servo
-Custom Wing Bag- nice!
-B&B fuel fittings
-Carbon linkages
-MIP Switches
-JR 6102 pcm Radio with RX (It was time for an upgrade anyway)

Check out Air Wild 50cc Extra 260 it has an 87" wingspan and claims to be the lightest in the class .. Although I dont know much about them I have been looking at it. I have the H9 E260 w/ DA50 now and will have to learn to fly it well before I can replace it. You might look at them ....

I AM WORKING ON A HANGAR 9 EXTRA 260 W/DA 50. I THEN WONDERED IF IT WAS A GOOD CHOICE. I THEN WENT OUT TO WATCH ONE FLY. I FLEW GREAT AND THE ONLY DRAW BACK WAS WE WILL NEED TO LEARN THRO. CONTROL. I CAME HOME WITH DO RESERVATIONS AND GOT WITH IT. TRUE THERE ARE ALOT OF GOOD PLANES OUT THERE AND I AM NOT THE ONE TO SAY ONE IS BETTER THAT THE NEXT AS I JUST STARTED GASSERS.
