Nice planes ProFlyer. I had my former 2.6 out today doing some trim flights for the gentlemen that bought it. Hate to see it go but need the money for the new project.

selleri -Wow what a BOSS looking stance! Looks truly cool with the dark canopy and spinna!
Any chance you are showing pictures of your build details on a message board I could visit? I would love to see your engine & muffler install and all else you have completed.
I'm concerned about how an ES composite tuned pipe w/ DA50R will work in my next project. The pipe is as long a a little league bat!
So for a first composite - not a difficult build at all?

I'll start a new thread with some construction photos.

My mate was installing the ES pipe in EF 88.5" Extra 300 and I don't see any problem fitting it to the Katana.
You'll probably need to move the rudder servo but other than that it would be in the bottom of the fuselage so it shouldn't cause any "problem".

For a first composite I wouldn't say so, then again I haven't built any other myself

I just finished a Comp Arf 2.12 Extra. Actually, it's my second one. First one hit a hawk on takeoff and both of them died, but that's another story.

I had a Brison 3.2 on hand so I bought my first compy. And did it again after the crash. It flies straight and true, looks good in the air (blue and yellow on top - red on the bottom). Without a doubt the best flying plane I have ever owned. Had to do a little mixing in knife edge btu nothing major. The Brison on a pitts muffler is more than enough power for this one.

Mine weighs 16lbs. I added a flying bellcrank rudder setup with two servos and also a chock servo. Got Wright RC to make me a virtual cockpit and it all looks and works great. If you decide to get one, I'll show you the other mods I did (removable fuel tank, removable front tray, fish gill type cooling slots, tailwheel setup, rudder pin not bent over and taped, etc, etc).
Anyway, I love mine and hope to keep it for many years to come.

2 - Standard servos for throttle and choke.
Duralite Power Box Royal
2 - Duralite 3800 LiMag (Power Box)
2 - Duralite 4300 LiIon (Ignition)
1 - Duralite Dual Electric Switch (Ignition)
TME Smoke Pump

I have owned and flown both. Both have good and bad points. Either one is great and to me they both fly the same once in the air.
