Steve, it was maidened last week with good success. We're taking it out tomorrow. Steve, are you flying anywhere tomorrow?

Chris, I just got off the phone with Cody and we're going to Boeing.....should be there by 10:30...if they want to head over to OFRC I'll give ya a call and we'll do that. I'd rather do OFRC but I'm just along for the ride tomorrow and gracious to be able to get the plane out for the first time.

Well the maiden went off without a hitch today. The plane felt very light and locked in. Bryan Zang from Aerographix did the vinyl, The covering is white ultracote and pearl plum monokote. I'm sure glsd it is finished and out of the basement!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the compliments. Jason is definitely a "proud" papa. Yes that is a jet-tech fuel tank. 64 oz and it weighs 5oz complete. The $125 is a little steep, but it is 3/4 lb lighter than a B&B 64 oz tank. I wish we would have remebered the scale, this thing is stupid light. It flew very nicely right off the table. Jason bought a 14MZ so were able to set the airplane up without matchboxes or anything else. We were able to dial it in to where there is .01 amps draw on any of the control surfaces. I also programmed in 3 flights conditions, 3D, Low rate, and a snap roll rate. The more I play with it the easier it gets. We also used 2 Fromeco 5200's a 2600, 3 regulators , a badger switch and a wolverine switch. I will get some more detailed pics of the install soon.
