I haven't been real prompt lately at posting progress pictures. These pictures show the before & after lightening cutouts for the stab root ribs. The last picture shows the main wing root ribs after lightening cutouts were made.

This is a picture of the wings and stabs after sheeting. They have been trimmed but still need leading & trailing edges installed. Also, the control surfaces need to be cutout.

These are pictures of the wings & stabs on the fuse frames after incidences have been set. Everything has been set to zero degrees. All wing bolts, tabs, etc. have been permanently mounted.

These are pictures showing the mounting for the tail wheels and main gear. I plan to cut some lightening holes in the aluminum main gear between the mounting holes.

Gray speckle paint will be done inside the hatch and motor box areas tonight. Then the belly pan and other foam pieces will start to be glued in place.

I weighed the wing panels for one of the kits I'm building for me. Left wing weighs 36.7 ounces and the right weighs 36.2 ounces. I was pleased they came in very close to the same weight. Do you have weights on yours at a comparable stage of build? Dean | ||||||||||||||||||

Wow thats some good weights Dean. With all the modifications we have done that is about the finished product we are looking at. Add gear and monokote your looking at a 3 pound, few ounce wing.
