Hello! I decided to go with Hangar 9's 1/3 scale CAP 232 and DA-85 for power. I have always liked Extra's but this CAP really stood out for the 85. I will start posting some pics by this weekend. Please chime in with any suggestions or comments. Did they dial out the wicked tendencies of the cap on this one?

i am building the H-9 Cap also with the DA-85. I have hit a stop trying to figure out how to get this huge JMB can muffler in there somewere. I have a 26 x 10 Mejzlik & 26A Vess to try. I hear that Vess is the ticket on the 80-85cc motor. So far I have installed the surfaces 5955 on the ailerons 5955 on the rudder 8411 on the elevators switches carbon landing gear wheels and axles sealed all surfaces mounted the Gi Joe pilot |

I meant, that a lot of original designed Caps had tendencies to snap hard in straight and level flight if you pulled too much elevators. Tight loops were a no no. Etc... This is a great looking plane, Keep us posted. SHould be a great combo!

Hello! I received the Cap 232 today. The plane is really a nice piece. The only complaint is a quite a few wrinkles but other than that it's great! I will post some pics as soon as I start the build. Perry |
