Here are some pictures that I found on Quique's plane. It is set up with two Duralite Regulator/JR Switches and AR9000 and two remote receivers. Please attention where the remote receivers are mounted. These two different set up that I have shown you can save you lots of trying. Plane does come with a nice battery tray for those who would set up their plane like shown. Pretty much this is where your batteries would end up, on the tray or Aft that unless you use a different engine or drastically change something. Hope these details help you guys as planes will be here very soon. Please ask if there is anything missing before I move forward to the next. Reza |

Let me make it this a little more clear. My second remote receiver is mounted right down where the tank is at the side of fuse but Quique's is aft the fuse. I like the way Quique did his better than mine, I tell you why. Well, I almost blocked the access to the aft of the fuse by that stick. I can not get my hand in there if need be, I actually needed to do that and ended up removing the stick. I moved it a lot higher on the same place but again, Quqiue's method is better because there is really nothing around the remote receiver. I am sure his fades are even less than mine. Last time I checked after a full flight my fades were 23 and 16 and 2 frame losses. On my Yak I never get any frame losses so even though these numbers are perfectly fine but I think if I try Quique's method I will not have any frame losses. |

Hi Reza What do you use to check the signal strength? Do you use the Spektrum flight log? Thanks Zivo

Reza, I have been off line for a few days and I was amazed at the comments being directed at you. No company I have ever been employed by gave out what could be construed as proprietary information. The reality is that competitors could take that information and come out with an inferior product before yours hits the market. The really annoying part (aside from lost revenue) is that the inferior "knock-off" would come to the market first, making it look like you had copied them. I want to thank you for your time and hard work on this thread! I am not the greatest builder/assembler and I can use all help I can get. I am certain that in addition to using the manual, I will be referring back to this build thread frequently. Guys, I got to see this airplane fly last weekend. All I can say is WOW!!! Reza would fly super slow knife edge at about ten feet and the rudder was barely deflected. When the plane was even with us, he put in what appeared to be about 25 degrees of rudder and the plane made a quick turn to vertical. When Reza punched the throttle, the plane accelerated up until it was almost out of sight! Also, Reza did some high rate horizon-to-horizon fast aileron rolls and the plane looked like it was on a string -- it went perfectly straight. Mind you, this was on his third flight, he was not even used to the plane yet. |

When I read my last post, I realized I need to clarify what I meant about the slow knife edge passes. The plane was in knife edge but not high alpha -- the fuselage was parallel to the runway. Even with the fuselage level, the plane was going super slow and with hardly any top-rudder. I have never seen a plane go so slow in knife edge with the fuselage level. WOW!

Hi Storklappe, Thank you for your support. I'm glad you enjoyed the way plane flies. Hope to see you again at the field soon, Reza |

| If there are no questions, I consider this plane built! Here are some pictures. I actually have 5-7 minutes video to upload but computer firewire port does not work so I guess I am stuck until I can borrow someone's laptop. I will write a flight report soon. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have or anything I may have missed to touch base. I flew the plane today and dialed it in. It is an unbelievable 3D machine. I actually think I will become a better pilot in couple of months. I did some maneuvers that I always wished to do but could not do it as clean before. Thanks all for following up on this thread. Oh, before I forget I checked my Spektrum Flight Log today twice and 0 frame loss, 12 fades 14 on another one. That's it |

I got to watch Reza fly this afternoon. He's like a school kid with a new toy and a big, happy smile. It's fun. The plane looks really great in the air. It has a very strong presence. It's was the only giant-scale biplane at the field amongst many Yak's and Extra's so it just stands out. My favorite part of the day was the insanely slow knife edge and the knife edge circle. The rudder authority was wicked. I watched Reza run through many of the maneuvers he would do with no fear in his 100cc yak, and it handled them all and looked really impressive along the way. Their was only one thing I really was disappointed with. I didn't get to fly it. |

Hopefully I will get some videos by next weekend. I am working hard on the manual and have computer problem. Let's do it this way, I will take the camera next week and film any maneuvers that you ask me to do or wanting to see. So please reply on this thread and let me know what you would like to see, I will do my best to do it. I am not a top notch pilot but will do my best show you what you want to see rather than just a regular flying. How's that? After that video and your requested tricks, I will give you a complete flight report. |
