No it is not cut out. It looks so blackish in the pic that you hardly can see it. I won't be cutting! Once I install the engine I will evaluate the engine temperature with the system that I have and if there was any need for baffling I will let you guys know.

No it is not cut. Those black rings or in case of Full Scale scheme I guess dark blue rings are there and will not interfere with engine installation. Thank you I always think this is a hobby and we are in it for fun, no reason for giving each other hard time!

If the control surfaces are not hinged, I start there. If the tail feathers are not attached, I will mount the engine next, easier to stand on the tail while they are not attached. Next would be the tail feathers. If the tail feathers are attached, I put it on its legs and then do the engine. Next I fit the tank, then on to the servos. The last thing I do is the cowl. I then check the balance without the receiver or power equipment and once I determine where it needs to go I install that equipment. I then set the throws and go over everything one or two times to make sure I did not miss something and to make sure everything is tight. Works for me.

Devin, Nice website and good flying! After looking over your site, I have one question: No Flying Giants listed on the left column?? That addition will make your site STELLAR!! Good luck on your flying and keep up the good grades! Get a Python and show 'em how it's done! WT |

Since I received the Python, my son says it’s his so I had to bribe him with a toy Bi-Plane. I am just hoping he doesn’t come back and tell me he has changed his mind! OK I will continue with the vertical fin and rudder installation tonight. Plan is going in the garage until at least mid night, so if I didn’t upload stuff tonight, I will tomorrow. Cheers, Reza |
