Default My new 3.0 meter Yak from the Crate to the Flight line in 1 week

OK Jagerbomb and I have begun the build of my new Comp ARF 3.0 meter Yak last night 10-15-07. We intend to Fly it first part of next week. I got it out of the crate and repositioned to the Dungeon at Jagerbomb's. This is the Comp ARF building headquarters in the Midwest. So far the tunnel is cut for the Greeves pipes, cowl ring is mounted, the rudder servo mounts in tail are cut and ready to glue doublers on inside. Push pull is going to work out EXCELLENT, Gear is mounted and tail wheel installed and the rudder is installed. I will say the fit and finish on this ARF is excellent. I hope to have all the servos installed in wings and and stabs tonight. Start running wires to the tail and aileron servos. Get the engine mounted and pipes mounted. Waiting for my SWB engine mount and we can perminatly mount engine.
Picks to follow this evening.
Our goal is to get this completed, flown and ready for the Atlanta Huckfest.

Equipment:
3.0 meter Yak Comp ARF
DA-150
Greeves Pipes
RC blimp titanium tail wheel
Futaba 5114 Reciever
8 Futaba 9156 Servos
1 Futaba 9204 throttle servo
Jet Tech Fuel cell. Kevlar 4.5 oz complete.
2 Fromeco 5200 reciever packs
1 Fromeco 2600 Ignition pack
3 Fromeco Regulators
1 Fromeco Wolverine switch
1 Fromeco Badger Switch
This should be one hell of an airplane when we get done....

Jason,
You also forgot we installed the canopy and the louvers as well last night. We will also be using a Smart-fly power expander.
I will make a template for mounting a push-pull rudder servo set-up in the 3.0 and 3.3 Yak so if any of you other brave souls are interested in doing this mod it will be a little easier. The benefit is more rudder authority,no stretching rudder cables, and less weight. I have done this to my last 3 Comp-arfs and it has worked out very well.

Just curious. What is the purpose of the "Jet Tech Fuel Cell?"

This is ambitious. Love it. Can you show some pics of the pipe tunnel?

The purpose was to save about 10 oz in weight and blow $100
The tank is a 64oz unit that weighs 5oz complete, it replaces the B&B unit that weighs 15oz.
