With these pictures, how can you tell its not an ARF
You will also notice on the wing picture, using a box type structure, I am able to simply turn the so called box upside down to do the other cut hopefully tonight. Can't do it alone....

One question, how did you cut your hole for the wing tube, it looks to be cut by hand and then sanded?
if so great job.

Hi Roger

Regarding the plane picture in post 79. Are you flying that place without a cowl? I like the way the headers are configured. The bend looks less sharp, making more power. Are you running an exhaust? If not, is it really loud?

Looking forward to more detailed pictures, especially regarding the wing's ailerons and leading edge. Loving this thread!, great pictures.

Thanks, I'm happy to see someone your age enjoying a plans build instead of an ARF...

Are you asking how I cut the hole in the fuse sides or in the wing??? If in the wing here is how I did it,

If in the fuse sides, I center of the hole, then took a hole saw a tiny bit smaller then I needed and then sanded until I got it right respecting the placement for both sides.

The large Edge is flown with the cowling on, I installed the engine this way so as to make it a hotrod Theme... I have made carbon Fiber mufflers for it but don't like the way they are installed so for now flying with no mufflers, a bit noisy but where we fly out of its not biggy...

Sorry, I should have been more specific, it was the hole in the fuselage.
Great job so far.

Wow Roger, Do you think the modelers on this thread would like to see a video of the big, 4 cylinder EVO, hauling the plane around? I know I would for sure.

Good call Jack!!! I would settle to just hear it running for the moment!! It's probably too dark for him to fly it, unless he has a bunch of glow sticks!!
Very nice plane though!!
