Thanks good point, but I will be using kerosene since its a turbo prop engine ... and not gasoline.

It was windy Saturday 15-20 mph and after checking everything out and making sure the motor was running OK he asked me if it was to windy to test fly ,,,,,,,,, I said not for me and he handed me the radio so I pointed it into the wind and hit the power , the DA 50 had plenty of power with this plane having a 88 inch wing span and weighing about 17lbs. I did not even touch a trim he builds a stright plane and we spent some time setting up the radio to get it where I though the throws and expo's should be and it flew great , played around with it and checked things like knife edge both ways and this thing was very netural almost not pitch or roll problems at all . I'll dial it in better on a day without wind but its was fun to fly , on landing I kept a little power on due to the strong head wind and gust and I set it down very softly . I hope your Laser flies as good as this one did !!!!

Nice ball links Roger, Where are they from? Did you tint the canopy yourself,if so how? Did you get any pics of your servo boxes before instalation?

Hi Rod,
The ball links are from a company in Germany, I forget the name, but I will try and find it and post it.

As for the Canopy, yes I do it myself, but not the dye stuff. I use Testors transparent spray paint . There are a few colors availlable, I happen to like the blue.

Clean the interior of the canopy, and make a handle on top with masking tape to hold it.
Then you spray it lightly each coat, until even. Voila a nice tinted canopy.

I think I have a picture of the servo box, I will check.

Thanks for you're interest in this build... Too many ARF's nowadays

Yes Mathew, this is for you buddy, not an ARF

Roger
