Thank you for the kind words, thanks to Jack Strickland for the fine Laser plans , and Hayes Hutchins for pushing me to do a turbo prop airplane and the loan of this Wren 44 engine

I should have it all assembled within a week or so depending how the cowling will go. So far I'm on track with the cowling and I am reserving something special for the cowling finish. hope it works

Roger

Glad to see your "pilot" looks scale in size, I've seen so many tiny busts in a Laser canopy that the full scale would have to be 60 foot in wing span !

You're right, the two large exhaust sticks out on the side hopefully making the whole front end look good without the cheeks.

As for the Pilot , its a 33%, by http://www.redaerorc.com/index.html and this airplane is 34% so it looks about right.

Mine is a 30% (87") as I've mentioned and I had to use a 33% head to make it look right. 'Course twelve years ago there were no bust's available between 25% and 33%.

The only down side to this thread is considering where you are we have to wait for the Spring thaw to get the flight report ?

I am trying to relocate south as we speak, but with the economy the way it is, its not going to be a quick move

I don't have any ideal where Northport is at, but when you get moved we will have to meet up and fly some day !

Yes that would be cool,
Northport, Alabama is about 130 miles west of Atlanta.

I have reached the point of no return making the cowling, , now I hope it will succeed...

Also you can see the engine install, and will continue installing everything.

Jack, if you remember I wasn't going to make the tail removable, and after you convinced me to do it, I am happy I did, so much easier to cover.

Movin' right along I see. We've touched on this before but just how are you gonna get the intake air to the back of the engine ?
