Today finished the Boost tab controls on the tail feathers , still have to do the wings.

Also installed the power board with receiver on an old school suspension , have a look.
In case you wonder, the stabilizer is sitting upside down to make it easier to work on the boost tabs.

'Course I thought it curved down from the canopy to the base of the Rudder. Not straight as usual.

May be that my perspective is scewed as it has been known to be before.

Sorry Roger, just some more side banter to kepp your thread on the top of the page !

Looks convex to me, does not look like it curves down, of course I could be wrong.

Ok I see what you are talking about. The deck does flair into the vertical stab in a concave manner. In other pix of the plane, it appears to be a hump behind the canopy, You were right, I was wrong. I apologize.

Will be picking up the 50oz fuel tank this morning and hopefully start the installation this afternoon, I am wanting to install an 8 or 10 oz header tank also.
I should have some pictures of the "invisible tripple switches" later but I will make visible just for
you. but not for long......

Rod, this type of switch would go well on such a nice scale job you are working on..

Today worked on the invisible switch and installed but being invisible, now I can't find it

Also I started the installation of the main fuel tank and the header tank.

I just went back and read through this thread and the thread on the 35%. It doesn't look near as difficult as i thought it was going to be. I'm really looking forward to this now! Now i just need to find something to use as a table top. Its proving kind of hard to find something here in Okinawa.

Okinawa??? I thought you were from Illinois? Thats where I'm from.

Here is what I did to build my 40%
I bought one a 1"x8" board 10 foot long. At Home Depot I picked a straight board. This is what I used to build a stright fuse. The fuse is not very wide but it is long. It worked very well.

My wing was all foam and Scott cut it for me. All I had to do was sheet it.

I'm in the military.... Length seems to be the problem here. Most boards are 6 ft or less it seems.
