| i already went over all the covering and i plan to do so after every two sessions! ive already had to land 3 planes (none my own) with 2-3 feet of covering coming off or off completly. it can be a challange but nothing unbearable! |

OK Guys, I have had my kit now for over 6 months. I finally started working on it this week. I am trying to have it ready for our "RDRC TOYS FOR TOTS" here in North Carolina. I finished hinging last night. A few changes I am making are: 1- I am not using ANY of the hardware supplied. (why? I had a DV and its neat, but any side load and the bearings go out) 2- I scraped the cam lock thing, just seemed a little cheezy. Instead, I glued a 1/4 carbon pin in the front hole, and I am going to replace the Metric rear blind nut with a 1/4-28 and use a 1/4-28 nylon bolt to retain the wing. 3- Replacing ALL metric with Standard. 4- Different tail wheel assembly I plan to start to mess with the Motor install tonight. I have the PSP short standoffs and am using a DA-50 from my DV. I will take a few pics and post. Anthony Wiencek Raleigh, NC |
