You are definitely right! To be honest, the best glue I have used is Ambroid...that was some 15 years ago when I had patience to wait. My first plane was given to me by a friend of my dad that was built entirely of that stuff - very strong and shock absorbing!

Here is a pic of the wing with the aileron cut out. It is 7.25" at the root and 3.25" at the tip. Its gonna roll like a mofo.

I'm already saving up money so I can order one of these around next Christmas. This is going to be one sweet plane. I'm planning on powering mine with a Kroma 100 or BME 110. Going to do a pull-pull set up on the rudder to with 2 Hitec 5955's. In fact, it's going to have 5955's all the way around except on throttle and choke of course. Thanks for doing a build thread of the prototype Tony.
