Can't really see the middle section absorbing any real stresses during flight, plus the small sections each have a double joint/reinforcement. The inner tube isn't moving or putting any stress on the center of the phenolic tube just the edges. I think it would have to be one hell of a move to break those guys out.

Just my thoughts.

Ok... see its build threads like this...
Clean, precise and "O so perfect" that make me think I can do this.
But I end up with a fuse that looks like a banana, and wings and stabs that make an "X" when viewed from the back.

I Love these threads, but at the same time I HATE YOU PRO GUYS...

You make this look so easy.... but its not!!!

AWESOME building skills... I'm taking notes,
blowing up the pictures, and holding study groups every Tuesday at 8 PM.

NICE JOB!!

P.S. Walt is doing a hell of a job man.....it looks great.
Just a word for thought. A lot of time and thought has been put into this build. There's some stuff coming on this plane thats unique to a Carden build. The modifications shown here may or may not have Cardens blessings, most of it don't . We are doing our own thing with this plane and some of it on our own, but the homework has been done..We're showing some other ways of doing stuff that I'm sure other builders can relate to and consider it as an option. This is a great hobby, this is my passion..Thanks for the complements, its really appreciated, Walt

Walt is the "MAN" This plane will have no spakle on it when done. I've enjoyed all of your build thread over at PB. Looks great Walt & Wayne.
