i have finally got a chance to start building my 35% edge that i got from john (aerotech) about a year and a half ago and thought id share with everyone my progress and building pics.  |

well not too much going on with the edge lately, the extra is taking up my mornings before work and i cant get away from it to get anything done on this thing. maybe tomarrow ill be at a point on the extra that i can get to start back on this one again.

Midnitedreamer,nice work so far> I built one,3W106,and it was probly the best plane I ever owned. Take your time and you will be rewarded with a great plane. Pix is on Johns web site,check it out.

i will and do always take my time to make it right. whats the point if it doesnt fly right. this is my second and third plane built from john. i built a 35% yak last year for a guy at my field. finished ARC weight came out at 9lbs 12.5 oz. i have a BME110 going in the edge and cant wait to get it in the air. matt |

I just got my first BIG plane today, a 35% aerotech edge 540t, from a very nice person who didn't want to build it. Does anybody have access to possibly an electronic copy of the manual, as I have never built one from sticks. Thanks!

BAyres, if anything call john at aerotech and see if he can get you a copy of the instructions. to my knowledge there isnt any. i have built 3 of his kits now and my extra and edge (on FG now, look for the build thread) have been built with no instructions. looking off the plans and where everything tabs together its fairly easy. i should be getting back on this plane shortly if youd like to follow along. if you have any questions or problems send me a pm, ill be glad to help out.

Matt, Thanks for your offer. I will be following along, and I did contact John, and he sent me an electronic copy. It's pretty basic, so we will see. With the wind like it is here this weekend in Vegas, I need to get this plane done so I can fly. Bobby |
