Good Australian Humour

Guys,

Its not often something this good comes along but first a word of warning. Its got some gory guts stuff in it but let me explain a bit about it first.

The Cane toad was introduced into Australia to control the cane beetle. Well the toads found better pickings than bettles and today are one of the most serious environmental pests in Australia. They have no natural enemies, anything that attacks them or eats them normally dies as they are venomous. And they are in plague proportion. ON a rainy night in Northern Queensland if you dont run over 50 of them on the highway going home from work your dodging them. They are like plague rats and spreading like wildfire.

One of the uses they have found for them is to dry them out and make funny souvenirs from them.

Download the video and have a laugh. Take it lightly like it was supposed to be taken.

Its also a good lesson in prime Australian queens english. Seriously its funny stuff.

I've heard they pop when you hit them with a car tire - is this true?

You better beleive they pop.

In that video he says about his mate getting stuck on toad poppers run. They go off like a little fire cracker when you get em. They are excellent golf swing practice. I had a few hole in ones with em.

No 1 wood man. Swish POP!!!!. Yuck!!!

Funny stuff - I hadn't heard of using them for golf. Are they calm enough to just swing at, or do you have to sedate them before the swing?

We used to get them every night, our lil pup would bark for hours at them. We used to pour detol on them...then wind up with a shovel and get them. Sometimes when you run over them they will vomit all their guts up...then swallow them and hop off.....does look a little gorey yes.
