George Bush goes to a primary school to talk to the kids to get a little PR. After his talk he offers question time. One little boy puts up his hand and George asks him his name. " Stanley ," responds the little boy. "And what is your question, Stanley ?" "I have 4 questions: First, why did the USA invade Iraq without the support of the UN? Second, why are you President when Al Gore got more votes? Third, whatever happened to Osama Bin Laden?" Fourth, why are we so worried about gay-marriage when 1/2 of all Americans don't have health insurance? Just then, the bell rings for recess. George Bush informs the kiddies that they will continue after recess. When they resume George says,"OK, where were we? Oh, that's right, question time. Who has a question?" Another little boy puts up his hand. George points him out and asks him his name. "Frank," he responds. "And what is your question, Frank?" "Actually, I have 6 questions: First, why did the USA invade Iraq without the support of the UN? Second, why are you President when Al Gore got more votes? Third, whatever happened to Osama Bin Laden? Fourth, why are we so worried about gay marriage when 1/2 of all Americans don't have health insurance? Fifth, why did the recess bell go off 20 minutes early? And sixth, what the heck happened to Stanley ?" |

That's sort of a funny joke.....BUT, With the whole world in turmoil, on the brink of world war 3... Don't you think we should support our President... These kinds of jokes give the wrong impression of our country to the enemies of Democracy. These kinds of jokes make US all look stupid. So, please, until the conflicts are over....Support our Administration and President! |

1. We invaded Iraq (the second time) without the support of the UN. 2. Al Gore had received more votes at the time when the US Supreme Court overturned and halted Florida's Supreme court decision for a recount. In spite of this decision, Gore still won the "popular" vote, while Bush won the total Electoral College votes which decide the Presidency and thus the battle over Flordida with it's high number of electoral votes. Contrary to popular belief, simply getting the most number of votes does not insure the Presidency. 3. 4 years later we have no idea where Osama Bin Laden is. 4. Approx 43.4 million Americans are without insurance according to government census estimates from 2003. Last edited by sl1200mk2; 07-27-2006 at 09:25 AM. | |||||||||||||||

#1 The UN wouldn't back up it's own resolutions and sanctions against Iraq, so We had to do their job for them. If the UN wasn't run by a bunch of dictators panty waste French, the world might not be in turmoil the way it is now. #2 Yes, but why even bring it up? Bush won fair and square. #3 I wouldn't say that in a general statement. The American people, by large don't know where he is. However, who's to say that the US government officials don't know? #4 Non-issue. I know plenty of folks who don't have health insurance the way the government defines it in that census. #1 own their own business. #2 Healthy and don't really need it.(I personally wouldn't buy into it at this time in my life.) #3 are a part of a "medishare" plan. #4 are a part of a retirement home where everything is taken care of. After all this, you have about 1% of people who can't afford it and the government will pay for it.(many folks abuse the system though and I would estimate it to be around 10%-15%) |
