Hi Jim, and welcome!! We have a great community of modelers with an excellent understand and respect for the historic value of what we are talking about here - admittedly, this is how I was taught how to fly. What you are reading here is satire, humor, and nothing else. If you cannot find humor in this, you'll probably dislike the entire site. If this was the only thread you looked at on the site, look around a bit more. We got a great group of folks here. Please enjoy your stay, and let me know if there is anything I can do to make it better.

Enjoy.

Nice Max,,,, Now for my take!!
It came as a shock to me, but it's true. The Flying Giants web site has become Kevin Bacon's roll in the epic good versus evil film Foot Loose! Kevin had to fight to get dance legalized in a small conservative town. He was persecuted but just knew his funky haircut, Converse tennies with a tux, beat up car and commitment to the groove would win the town over. I mean the guy was practicing his moves in a barn fearing the anti-groove law of 1739!

Though I am truly sorry if we've offended anyone with a site based as much on good friends having some laughs as it is a place to gather information in a multi- media format. I can only echo Max's opinion; if you didn't like that thread,, you're probably NOT going to like a bunch of it. It is PG-13 so be warned!! Isn't Shrek 2 PG-13?

As for the future of the Flying Giants, I say let's get hair do's that look like we combed our hair with an egg beater. Go buy you some high top red Converse tennis and wear them with a tux! Get you a beat up coopty and drive to a remote barn. When you are sure nobody will hear or see you TELL A BUNCH OF JOKES AND LAUGH, LAUGH, LAUGH !!

I'm sure if we band together the community will understand funny shouldn't be illegal, PG-13 is less racey than most of the bill boards on the drive to work. The straight faced non jovial act of 1932 will be repealed one day!

The day laughter is thought of as a negative in the hobby, is the day we'll have tons of new material!!

That's my thoughts. In closing I'd like to share one of my son's favorites. It is a bit vulgar so be warned READ WITH CAUTION!!! (He's two)

Knock knock.......Who's there?....... Boo......... Boo who?............. You don't have to cry about it. Nor do you need to make mass generalizations accusing good men you don't know of moral bankruptcy over some stupid jokes.

He's got a million of 'em! Funny kid huh?

Well, now we know...

It has been a mystery to me, as well as others, where the Biffster received his quick wit and extensive humor. I, for one, am glad the "cat is out of the bag", so to speak. Though I'm a little disappointed that the humor instructor is such a little fellow, it's good to know what we have to look forward to, just as soon as the little guy can type.

I'm just astonished that these advanced verbal skills could be learned from such a young mind.

I guess astonished isn't quite the right word, jealous is more like it.

I bow down to you, Young Biffy, you are the "little man".

It's a sad state when life becomes too rigid to laugh. My friend had to go to his son's school because the teacher was upset that he was drawing purple cows. She told him that "cows are white, black or brown...NOT purple." He answered "my mommy said my daddy saw pink elephants." gotta love kids.
