was wondering when the next imac event is in fl.?i thought there was one in march but i dont see it on the imac website anymore...

what happened to the venice imac contest. its disappeared from the imac wesite. did they cancel it? could you let everyone know. thanks man

Hey Matt,
They pulled the plug on the Venice contest last week.
It was scheduled for The weekend of March 31. I am sure you recall last year the business at the West end of field had concerns of safety with the big planes flying overhead. I guess the complaints when far enough to where it could jeopardise there field if it happened this year, so Bob understandably canceled the event.
The next contest is the infamous "11th Annual Spring Classic" in Land O Lakes.
Out of all contest, this one is the one to make. I think we had 58 pilots last year and this year looks to be bigger.
Every Body is encouraged to Pre-register for the event. Ill start a thread in a couple weeks to keep everybody updated.

It kinda sucks only having only 5 contest in florida for the whole year. Did you notice how many are north of us ?

Hopefully the JR Challenge will be back next year.
Maybe we could something at the Sun N Fun in Lakeland next year too.
