Wayne, this is off topic but since it concerns points ill ask since your here, there was something noticed this morning as to our region points on our NC site.....the Canadian NATS counts points towards the points for our region, why does our NATS not count ? Someone asked me and I didnt know so thought I would ask. Thanks. |

Dan, I'll weigh in on the Canadian side. Yes a bid to have the Canadian Nat's included was made successfully last year and carried through to '08. The Nat's replaced a contest that was on the regular circuit (RC400). "We" thought that having it as part of the NC circuit would encourage American participation and I have to say I believe it was successful in doing so. From the IMAc site. "The AMA Scale Aerobatics NATS may count as one of the out of region contests." So from that I would say the US Nat's also counts and anyone that flew there can use their placement there in their own home region... and rightly so... it's a sanctioned event, it should indeed count. Rick
