Kevin under my name; Stephen Hamilton it says "Yes" im going to the shootout... i know i told you earlier that i was going, but i didn't realize that i would miss at least a week of school.... if you could change that to a "U" because i am still thinking about going, but its not for sure.

Just like if your 1st in your Region and you don't get an invite. The system isn't totally fixed yet, but its better than last years

Contest management does reserve the right to "invite" up to two persons per class though. The point system, while not perfect, is in place to get active IMAC members who do well week after week into the contest. Dave told me he wants any of the ten people in each class to be capable of winning. | |||||||||||||||

No biggy, I know the system is not perfect, but if very good pilots do not get in because they come from a region with low turnouts, they dont get the points for placing above a lot of other folks like the contests with large turnouts i.e. west coast contests.
