I am not sure, I have a big problem this year, trying to decide, maybe somebody can help me, actually I am trying to figure out, well this is not going to be easy, I think I will wait to decide on what planes to bring, that is my problem.

Sweet! Do I have to make reservations to get into the special FG section? Or maybe I should camp on the OTHER side and walk over.. that way I can get some sleep |

Camping is first come first serve. There is plenty of room for tent camping. The cost is $10.00 per night. When we get every thing posted on web site you can download pre registration form (which makes every thing go a whole lot quicker) and mail in pilot fees, spectator fees and camping fees in advance. Please feel free to PM me if you have more questions and I will try to answer them all. Thanks, Laura McKinney |

It gives me great sorrow to report that last years Verbose, talkative, eloquent, energetic, and totaly insane announcer for a lot of the FG simulcast has informed me he will be unable (or unwilling) to make the trek to Triple Tree and join us all for a week of fun, frivolity, wine tasting, hucking of airframes and other RC Gentlemanly pass times. It seems that Ynot is going to be engaged elsewhere at something called a "ProBros" flyin . .whatever that is. So, Gentilemen (and I use that term in an all inclusive, if partially innacurate way), please join me in mourning the loss of Mr. Tony Dupaquese from our midst for this fraternal gathering of RC Hucksters. His loss will be felt, I am very sure. There will be a toast, with ritual wine glass shattering, to his memory on Wednesday Evening. As for my self .. I shall be attending this years event, from Sunday-Sunday, and will be bringing my usual assortment of aircraft, including the notorious "Tree Plane" (still alive after more than 4 years of abuse) the SLW MX-2, small "just put it in the air and fly around" GP Yak-54, and TWO (yes. . TWO) of my Frenzy creations in gas powered form (expect 3-4 electrics). On a side note. . . One of the Frenzy's is the "Normal" (a loose term I am sure) 50cc powered versions, whilst the other has been upgunned, testosterone injected, beefed up, built up, and otherwise made even more overkill by infusing BME-110 power on nose and slightly enlarging the airframe (AUW 20 lbs. . 2100" of area, 92x92) Both will be fitted out for night flying, and available for anyone daring (or insane) enough to give them a try. And speaking of night flying. . there will be a variety of music available for the dark-side antics .. everything from Hamsterdance to Canon in D Minor, will be played. . and flown to. Please refrain from libations prior to all night-flying activities (cheering sections are exempt from this requirement) And Biff. .I'm bringing a proper SWAB and BUCKET for you this year, along with a gallon of paste wax and a floor buffer. since you have shown the talent, I hereby designate you our Camp Jackass Cleanup detail. Please be sure to police the area properly before retiring each early morning, since an IG team will be in the area and subject to suprise arrival and inspection at a moments notice. Discrepencies will be noted. ONE OTHER THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was discussed last year that we NEED to have a proper COOKOUT at Camp Jackass. To this end, I ask ALL participants in this years flyin to guarantee not only their presence, but declare what they will bring to this August Gathering. Given the other night time eating events that usually take place at Triple Tree, I'd like to put forward the nomination of Wednesday as the "Official Flying Giants" cookout event, starting at 16:00 (that's 4 in the afternoon for you civilians), and going until. . . . . Food for this event is to be supplied (as discussed last year) by members of the Flying Giants Fraternal Brotherhood. I am therefore, opening the floor for Declarations of Intent from the membership. Who shall be attending the cookout. . and what shall you be donating towrd the cause of full bellies, fraternal passing of gas, and burping sounds late into the night? I'll be bringing a case (or two) of Warsteiner German Beer, and will be dedicating 24 bottles of Golden Perfection to the libations for the event. We still need MEAT. .BREAD. . VEGGIES. . SAUCES. . other drinking stuff. . . plates and flatware. . . Given Biff's hunting prowess I EXPECT a large piece of some non-farm, non-corn fed, gamey flavored meat . .preferably Elk, Venison, Bear or Caribou . what say you Biffster?? See you all there.
