Thanks to a long list of Sponsors this is a great event in what has to be the largest indoor flying facility in the nation. The UNI-Dome is an indoor football/track complex that seats 16,000 people. It has a 158' ceiling and 120 yards of flight line making it one awesome place to burn oodles of electrons in your 3D foamies, slow fliers, and electric helicopters!

Last year there were two one day events each drawing over 90 registered pilots and hundreds of spectators. This year with the single two day event the organizers are expecting 150+ pilots. There will be lots of vendors/manufactures on hand, catered food, a few contest events (pylon racing, combat etc), some manufacturer demonstations, and tons of "door prizes". Also, rumor has it a few of the "big dogs" will be attending (I try to confirm who later)!!

For the open flying the arena is split in half to allow for circuit flying on one end and 3D Airplane/Helicopter flying on the other. This system make for a very relaxed and fun environment for pilots of all interests and abilities.

I hope to see some of you FG guys out for a couple of BADA$$ days of indoor flying!!
